International Association of Development Professionals (IADP)

The goal of IADP is to serve as a professional association of community development practitioners, whose mission is to serve the poorest of the poor.

The objectives of the association are:

1. Provide & maintain high level project programming services to NGOs & the general populace in accordance to the acceptable standards and ethics;
2. Enhance and uphold high standards of community development practices;
3. Facilitate exchange of information & ideas among development practitioners, thus facilitating replication of successful intervention and documentation of the same;
4. A platform for volunteer development workers to learn from experienced professionals in the field;
5. Enhance fellowship among IADP graduates, lecturers & other scholars;
6. Facilitate youth exchange program, from one community to the other and/or from universities teaching community development to rural areas & villages that require their knowledge;
7. Create a platform for networking with other professional organization.
